Notice of Pre-Matric Scholarship for Minorities for FY 2021-22

Instructions for Students:

1. Last date for submission of online application by students (Fresh & Renewal) through the National Scholarship Portal is extended up to 15.12.2021. (Link: National Scholarship Portal - NSP).

2. Submit the printout/physical copy of applications along with all relevant documents to the concerned Head of Institute/ Institute Nodal Officer (INO) for online Institute level verification of application before the deadline.

Instructions for INOs/ Head of Institute (Government/ Provincialised/ Recognised/ Recognized Private):

1. Last date of online verification of applications at Institute/School (L1) level by the INOs is 15.01.2022. (Link: Institute Login - NSP).

2. Submit the verified list of students with Institute Seal & Signature along with all relevant documents of students/school to the concerned District Nodal Officer (DNO) for online District level verification of applications. (District Nodal Officer List - NSP).

Instructions for Districts (District Nodal Officers):

1. Last date of online verification of applications at District (L2) level by the DNOs is 31.01.2022. (Link: District Login - NSP).

The documents/data to be checked thoroughly before the online verification of scholarship applications at Institute & District level on NSP Portal are given below:-
(i) The DNOs have to take an undertaking from the Head of the Schools/ Institute Nodal Officers that the applications along with supporting documents verified by them are genuine & authenticated before District level verification of application.
(ii) School enrolment register should match the student records with the information provided in the online application form of the students.
(iii) Bank account number in the name of student or their parents. IFSC code of location of the bank/branch should be verified. If it is located outside the district it should be double checked.
(iv) Xerox copy of bank account passbook mentioning the account number & account holder name.
(v) Student bonafide certificate uploaded should be verified.
(vi) Mobile number of applicants should be checked.
(vii) Annual income certificate of parents/guardians issued by competent authority of students.
(viii) Community Certificate certified by parent/guardian of the student.
(ix) Marksheet of previous year of the student. The decision to relax the eligibility criteria of 50% marks for both Fresh and Renewal scholarship of students taken by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, GOI for FY 2021-22. A student passing the previous final examination/ promoted to next class will be treated as eligible/apply for Pre-Matric scholarship.
(x) Fee receipts of the student (for non-govt. schools).
(xi) Address proof of student/parents.
(xii) Birth certificate of students.

Note: Update/submit KYC (Registration) forms of School/Institutes online with Aadhaar details on NSP Portal and submit the physical/printout copy of KYC forms with seal & sign along with relevant documents by the institute authorities to the concerned DNO for approval to activate and visibility the institute name on student registration section as well as verification of applications online at Institute level (Ignore if already completed the process).
